I challenge you!

Over the last few weeks I have felt a change in the air at the Brockway house. It's a little warmer and it encircles you. It's definetly a stronger wind. But that's okay change is a great thing most of the time! They're slow suttle changes but they're there. There in the way we greet each other when Jay comes home from work, the way we put Elizabeth to bed, and the way we spend quality time after Elizabeths in bed.

There was nothing wrong with how we did it before but now there's a warmth to it. There's a want to doing better. We have all made an effort. I make a point to have supper ever night and breakfast on the weekends. So what inspired this change? It's amazing what a little devotional time can do together. Do not get me wrong it's fine to do your own ( I follow several married women's blogs: Unvieled wife and Hot,Holy, and Humerous). Why do I do these things? I want to be the wife God wants me to be. I want to be the wife that is priceless above rubies. (Proverbs 31:10-12
A wife of noble characterwho can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
    and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.)

I want to have the romance from the Song of Soleman. (Song of Soloman 6:5-7 Turn your eyes away, for they overpower me. Your hair falls in waves, like a flock of goats winding down the slopes of Gilead. Your teeth are a white as sheep that are freshly washed. Your smile is flawless, each tooth mached with its twin. Your cheeks are like risey pomegranates behind your veil.) I know I'm getting looks thinking... Asking for much?? That's more of a fairy tale not a reality... But that's not true.. God would not have put these words in bold print if it weren't possible. I am thankful for these scriptures they give Jay and I motivation to have a Godly marriage. We have recently started the Love Dare and I have noticed those small changes since starting! So go ahead give it your best shot in "working on your marriage." What's the worst that can happen?? You fall even more in love with your spouse?!
