My beautiful daughter has taught me SO many things! Patience being one of the biggest! Thursday made a week we have been in the hospital. I want to run around screaming asking the doctors when we'll go home. I am still new to this patience thing. And in some things I am not such a fast learner.
I am learning to be happy in the small things. Today my blessing has been that her echo still looked good. She is still very much stable. But I had to work on the patience it took to wait until the Cardiologist called to tell us.
God has shown me so many things in Elizabeth's short 8 months. I am so blessed that he finds me worthy of his working on. He sees that I am worth his time. I am his diamond in the rough.
You see in life I will need ALOT of patience. Elizabeth will take things at her own pace and sometimes they want be as Fast as the pace i want. But I will learn that when I take her hand and take that slow MAGICAL pace it will be just as God intended it to be.
So today I pray patience for everyone. Maybe you just need God to give you patience while you wait in the bank. Or maybe you need patience waiting for that life altering test result to come back. God gave me the patience when I waited on our sweet girl and he will give it to you!
