The days where they screams for their daddy when he's sitting right in front of them working, but that's not good enough. The day that no amount of rocking or patting will put her down for a nap. The day where you are exhausted, frustrated, irritated, and furious. The days where you live for nap time and eat a burnt cheese toast and soak in the moment. Or you just settle for pepperonis straight out of the fridge and the bag. You know the days where the dog eats more off the floor than the kids eat off the plate.
What you don't realize about those days are that you'll end them feeling so much love, want, need, and you'll be emotionally drained from the amount you've received. Were so busy and caught up being mad we don't realize that they're saying "mama" 1000xs a day is a way of showing love and respect. The days where we fall asleep rocking them and they sit in our laps and giggle is a time where they just want to be held by us.
I know all this sounds nice and cozy when your fruatrated and break out the "spoon" or time out it's the farthest thing from your mind. Eventually you end up feeling guilty and frustrated. Well what does the bible tell is about "these days" ?
It's our toilsome labor as a mom but we should be happy and accept out lot in life. Nothing like a good scripture to wake you up.
Now since I'm having one of "those days" or should I say "those weeks" ima go back to my bag of pepperonis!
