For those of you thinking... Picc?? Uh okay sure I know exactly what your talking about. A picc is a central IV that goes straight to the heart or a main artery to the heart. Some can be used to draw blood. There are several advantages. The main two are its ability to last longer and draw labs.
At USA they do a "deep sedation." It's in between feel good drugs and general. Elizabeth did amazing no respiratory/heart complications! She did "perfect" per quoting the doctor.
I on the other hand was like a cat on a tin roof! They did let me stay until she was sedated. God blessed me with a wonderful doctor who took care of our sweet girl back in July.
Our sweet girl doesn't even look like she just went through heck! God is so good!
