I have been informed I did not blog yesterday! So here goes....
Elizabeth, Sharla, Sue, and I went for a little shopping extravaganza yesterday. We decided to make a day of it and drive to the Foley Outlets. We had a blast. After an hour discussion of food and great places to eat we decided to eat at Mellow Mushroom. Crazy, huh? Yes, we have one that is only thirty minutes away. But there is something to eating at Mellow Mushroom IN Foley so I've been told.
We were greeted at the door by the unique employees, that only Mellow Mushroom hires ,with oowws and ahhs of how cute Elizabeth is. Please don't think I'm bragging but something about her draws people. Little did I know that I would be drawn to a young man sitting just a few tables away. I was amazed at the grace he carried himself with. He was NOT like the streotypes. He was thin, average height, and well mannered. You see, this young man was magical like my little one. He gave me HOPE. Hope that my Elizabeth will be just fine. Elizabeth has truly given me a love for magical people of all ages and diagnosis.( For those of you who are just picking up my blog, understand magical is my word for "special needs.")
After the whole entire staff oowwed and ahhhhed she then was noticed by other customers. They of course, oowwed and ahhhhed! I have often wondered do people notice her because she's cute or because she's cute and magical ? I'm not saying I sit up all night and worry while binging on a pint of ice cream. It is just a thought that occurs after the fact and is gone as quickly as it comes.
At the end of the day it doesn't matter if they notice her because she's magical or if its because she's down right adorable! God sees all of us as beautiful magical or not!
Pics of Elizabeth shopping:
After a long day of shopping we were tuckered out. The next logical thing was bath and sleepy time!
