Elizabeth is now able to sit up practically on her own! I'm very proud! My heart pretty much leaps put of my chest every time! She has the plastic ball that is self rolled and she will sit up and play with the ball for a minute to several minutes. It mainly depends on if she realized she's doing it on her own.
Today we've been working in the yard. Well when I say we I actually me Jay and Ricky (father-in-law). Shelly (mother-in-law) and I watched and played with Elizabeth. After trying several different ways to make Elizabeth happy I laid her on the sheet we had spead out. But of course, that wasn't right either. So I quickly picked her up unknowingly standing on her pump to that was locked in her MICkey button. Needless to say, mother of the year award goes to me! But no worries she was quickly wisked inside, hands sanitized, and a new button in place! Thank God for the steady and calm hands of her daddy.
For those of you who follow me personally on FB I have taken a break from social media and will still continue to blog as well as keep her update page on Facebook. I personally will not have a page.
Also, Elizabeth participated in the buddy walk and I have posted those photos below!
